Athletics

Attention girls interested in trying out for softball! There will be an informational meeting today after school in room 200. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Flowers.

Are you interested in playing boy's soccer in the fall? Kahok Boys Soccer Open Gyms will start next Tuesday after school in the weight room from 3 to 4:00. All are welcome. We will meet every Tuesday and Thursday in January starting next week. For questions, please get in touch with Coach O'Neill.

Last night the boys basketball team traveled to Jacksonville for a non conference game.  The Kahoks won 61-57.  Donovan Coates paced the Kahoks with 24 pts.  Jace Wilkinson added 11 and Stanley Carnahan chipped in 9.   The Kahoks will be back in action this Friday night for a home game when they host the Edwardsville Tigers.  Jv will tip off at 6pm with varsity around 7:30 pm.  Let's pack the place and root on your Kahoks....see you there!

If you have ever wanted to learn how to dance or brush up on the skills you learned in the past, we'd love to have you tryout for the Kahok Kickstart Dance Team! Tryouts will be held January 14th & 16th at Maryville Elementary School from 3:30-5pm. Questions? Stop by Mrs. Ryterski's room in room 151 and she can help! Your paperwork, forms and payment are due by FRIDAY to Mr. Gordon in room 218.   Enrollment ends on Friday so please get your stuff turned in today! 

There will be an informational meeting after school on Jan 13 for persons interested in doing crew for The Drama Club's production of Frozen Jr. It will be held in the auditorium. 

Attention all CHS HOSA Future Health Professionals Club members. Our next meeting will be Monday, January 13th immediately after school in room #219. The meeting will last until 3:30pm and will be discussing our upcoming ribbon roses fundraiser. If you plan on attending the IL HOSA State Leadership Conference in March, your registration fee is due ASAP.  Please contact Ms. Perry or Mrs. Wegener if you have any questions.
