SENIORS GOING ON SENIOR FIELD TRIP THIS WEEK: There is a very important google form you need to fill out if you are going. It is regarding return times. The form is in the class of 2025 classroom, and should have been emailed to you as well. You must fill it out before 3 pm today if you plan on going.
If you ordered a senior shirt, they are in Ms. Geib's room 308 for pick up.
Athletics
Congratulations to the CHS Winter Guard for an amazing performance at their championship competition this past weekend. They scored first place in their division, which means that they scored first at every competition this year—despite being promoted mid season. This is a huge accomplishment! Go Kahoks!
Come out and cheer on your Kahoks tennis teams! They will be playing tonight against Jerseyville here and tomorrow at Civic Memorial. Both meets start at 4.
The Boys Track team competed at the Illinois Top Times Indoor State Championship this weekend in Bloomington. We had 2 boys qualify, Ayden Gratzl in the Pole Vault and Devin Habermehl in the Shot Put. Devin Habermehl placed 3rd in the shot put with a new personal record and the #2 spot on our all time indoor top ten.
The Girls Track team also competed at the Indoor State meet. They had 2 girls qualify, Kwanza Henderson in the 60 meter Dash and 400 meter Dash and Ellie Rhinehart in the Shot Put. Kwanza ran a personal best in the 400 meter Dash and broke the Indoor School Record. Ellie had a personal best in the shot put.
Collinsville High School Cheerleading tryouts for the upcoming football season will be Monday, April 14 and Tuesda,y April 15th in the Aux gym. Tryout packets can be found in the main office. Please email Coach Audrain with any questions. We look forward to seeing you at the tryouts.
Clubs
Help the Kahoks win against Edwardsville & Triad! We are in a competition against all Madison county schools to collect the most amount of plastic bags. Bring in as many clean, dry plastic bags as possible to help keep our community clean. Environmental club is collecting bags next to the main office, attendance office or in Mrs. Wright's room (127) until April 3rd. Let's go Kahoks!
