Seniors! Next Wednesday, September 3rd will be the Senior group picture at 8am.  

Make sure you’re wearing purple and don’t be late! 

Hello Class of 2026! Senior Sunrise is tomorrow at 6am on the Football Field.

Please bring your blankets and arrive starting at 6am on the football field to watch the Sunrise together as a class.  Once the sun rises, make your way to the Aux Gym for some music and breakfast foods!  Mr. Gordon should have all the food and beverages set up by 6:35am.   

No RSVP necessary!  Just join your classmates for a fun Friday morning before school starts! 

Athletics

For those of you that will attend sporting events on the campus of Collinsville HS.. You must show your student ID to enter the game and get free admission.   For those of you that will attend games at another school where the Kahoks are playing.  You must show your student ID to enter the game.  For example.. If you do not have your student ID this Friday night at Belleville East, you will not be allowed to enter the game.  

Boy Basketball will be holding an informational meeting about fall workouts for those interested & not currently  involved in a fall sport today after school in the Athletic Conference room. 

Congrats to our lady Kahok Tennis team on their team win against East St Louis Tuesday! 

Clubs

If you’re looking for some way to get involved at CHS, there are a bunch of clubs having meetings today. 

Here are all your choices….

The Art Club will have its first meeting today, immediately after school in room 512.  The meeting will last one hour.  New members are always welcome.  Hope to see you there!

Hey KAHOKs, are you ready to make a positive impact this year? Join us for the first KAHOKstrong meeting of the school year today, right after school in Room 203.

Come learn how you can help create a stronger, more supportive school community. We'll be discussing our plans for the year and how we can work together to make a difference. If you cannot make the meeting please email Mr. Post or Ms. Geisen. 

Do you want to make lifelong friends and support inclusivity? Come to the Best Buddies meeting today from 3 pm-4 pm. You can be a part of a club that pairs those with and without disabilities to create true friendships. We will have snacks, and we would love it if you could join!

The next meeting of the German Club will be today after school in room 229.  The meeting will last 30-45 minutes.  New members are welcome.  You do not need to be in a German class to be in The German Club.

The Wellness club would love to invite you all to our first meeting today right after school. We will be introducing ourselves, planning the next couple of months, and eating sweet treats, such as ice cream, so be sure to head on down to room 214 after school. 

Bonjour!  The French Club will hold its first meeting today after school in Room 227.  All are welcome to come and see what French Club is all about! 

Ready to save the planet and get some free snacks? Come hang out with the Environmental Club today after school in Mrs. Wright's classroom (Room 127). Bring a friend and let's get together to make a difference!

The first HHC meeting will be today right after school in room 131.

The Collinsville High School Black Student Union will have its first meeting on Tuesday September 2nd after school in the library computer lab. Please join us to find out more information about our awesome club. All students are welcome to join. Join our BSU google classroom if you would like more information.
