The Kahok Way: Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful

Seniors! This Wednesday…that’s tomorrow will be the Senior group picture at 8am. Make sure you’re wearing purple and don’t be late! Goldbeck will be back the following day with printed copies of those pictures to sell outside of the cafeteria. 

This Thursday will be student picture retake day and staff picture day.  Students, If you weren’t happy with your picture or you never had a picture taken by JostenPix, ask for a pass to visit the library sometime Thursday. Also to staff, Mrs. Westphal would really like to have all of your pictures included in the yearbook.  Please make sure to visit the library as well.  

It’s Tuesday, which means it’s CHECK DAY!  Log into your Skyward account and take a peek at your attendance.  If you see any issues, swing by the attendance office and have a chat with Ms. Kim. 

Athletics

Attention all dancers! The Kahok Dance Team will be holding a 2nd tryout tomorrow, Wednesday September 3rd, at 3:00 in the Aux gym. You can get a tryout packet in the office or see Mrs. Corvallis in room 308. We hope to see you there!

Congrats to our lady Kahok Varsity Tennis team on their team win over Gibault Thursday! 

Top finishers from this weekend's cross country meet.

The top finisher for the boys was Chase Cummins at 9th place overall and for the girls team it was Ryelan Judiscak. 

The boys team finished 4th overall. 

Clubs

The Collinsville High School Black Student Union will have its first meeting today after school in the library computer lab. Please join us to find out more information about our awesome club. All students are welcome to join. Join our BSU google classroom if you would like more information. 

Join us in the Esports Arena in Fletcher Gym on Friday September 5th for our first meeting day! We will be hosting a smash tournament as well as open play for the other games! Be sure to submit your permission slips to Coach K. In the chrome depot before then! We will meet from 3 to 430! Be there or be square! Because if you're a square, you're not around!

First Priority Club will have a meeting this Wednesday morning September 3rd at 7:10am in room 209! First Priority is for students who already know or want to know more about Jesus. We will have donuts! Email Mrs. Schneider or Mr. Gottschalk if you have any questions. See you every Wednesday at 7:10am in room 209!
