General School info.

Driving students!  The bridge from the student lot will be removed for renovations for a few months.  Please use an alternate walking path during that period. 

The drama club will be selling tickets to their production of Airness at lunch next week. Tickets are $5 and will be cash only. The show takes place at the air guitar nationals and is all about finding the rock within yourself.

Good morning Juniors! Do you want to leave school early? Do you want to make money? Then consider taking Co-Op next year. See Mrs. Moore in Room 323 or talk to your guidance counselor to see how you can sign up!

Athletics

There are no more spots available on the Esports team. If you have an interest, be sure to sign up next year!

Attention Girl Bowlers - tryouts for the girl's team is next Monday, November 17, and Wednesday, November 19 at Camelot Bowl after school at 3:30 - 5:30.  There is no transportation provided so make sure you make arrangements.  Also, there are no fees to try out, but you must have a current physical and parent consent form on file at the school to try out.  You may bring those documents to tryouts if necessary.  

Clubs

FBLA Members, the next meeting is today after school in room 321. All are welcome to attend. However, if you plan on going to any competitions, you must attend this meeting. We will begin registering for the Regional Competition and discussing other items like dues, other field trips, speakers, and fundraisers. Please see the google classroom for further details and contact either Mrs. Moore or Mr. Sertich if you have any questions. 

Attention Sophomores! The Class of 2028 Executive Board will have its next meeting today in room 217. We will be discussing our upcoming GobbleGrams fundraiser and more! Contact Ms. Gualdoni or 

Mr. Tostado if you cannot attend or have any questions!

Help us make a difference this Thanksgiving! The FFA is collecting items to create “Thanksgiving Dinner in a Box” packages for local families in need. Please bring your donations to Room 156 by November 18th.

Check out the flyers around school for ideas of what to donate and more details. We’re partnering with THL’s Turkey Drive to make sure each family also receives a turkey. Let’s work together to fill as many boxes as we can and spread a little holiday kindness!

There will be a Model United Nations Meeting today immediately after school in room 206.  We will be writing a resolution to submit to CIVITAS. 

The Wellness Club will have a meeting on Tuesday, November 18th, in Rm 214, right after school.  Bring a dish, snack, or treat to share.  We’ll be making place mats for a local nursing facility, and have a fun activity on thankfulness.  Let’s come together to nourish our bodies, minds, and hearts, and spread some joy to others while we’re at it!

• Turkey & cheese sub, crispy chicken wrap, chicken Caesar salad, and assorted fruit & yogurt parfait

• Bacon cheeseburger, Ninja burger, fries, and Hawaiian pizza

• Beef filling, fajita chicken strips, refried beans, nacho & cheese sauce, and Mexican rice & beans
