General School Info.

The CHS Unforgettable Cupid Dance will be Saturday, February 7th from 7-10 pm. As always, all profit will go toward the leadership Grand Gesture Project!  If you’d like to invite a guest that does not attend Collinsville High School, the forms can be picked up and returned outside of the main office. NOTE: Those forms will not be accepted after noon on Tuesday, February 3rd.  

Attention Juniors- CEO is a class that is available your senior year and meets outside of school in local businesses during the first hour. This class is a great way to learn about different businesses and careers, get leadership experience, and even start your own business while you're in high school. The application is open January 15 - February 15. We will be having the second Junior Preview Day where you can attend CEO and learn more on Thursday, January 22.  Check with your school counselor for more details on the Junior Preview Day and the CEO application.

Are you a junior? Do you want to leave school early every day your senior year? Then sign up for Co-Op, where you can leave school early and go to work to earn your own money. Talk to your guidance counselor or Mrs. Moore in room 323 for more information.  

Athletics

The Boys Soccer Open Gyms will continue today after school in the weight room from 2:30 to 3:30, all are welcome. 

The Lady Kahok Wrestling team competed in the 618 Invite last night. As a team they placed 1st place out of 14 teams with 153 points! Individual placers are as follows: Harlee Hart 2nd Place, Ivana Torres 1st place,  Jazelle Young 1st Place, Emma Ford 1st Place, Londyn Long 1st Place, Jaylah Harris 3rd Place, Addyson Bailey 1st place, and

Neveah Hamer-Burries 4th place. The Lady Kahok Wrestling team is back in action tonight in Fletcher Gym against South Western Conference opponent Belleville West for their senior night!

  Clubs

The Baking Club will have a meeting this Friday from after school until 4:30 in room 147. Please make sure you have chosen which cupcake group you want to be in on the google classroom by the end of the school day on Thursday. 

ATTENTION ALL SOPHOMORES! The Class of 2028 will have its next meeting on Thursday, January 22nd after school in room 217. We will be discussing our plans for the semester! Please make plans to attend. If you cannot make it or have any questions, reach out to or come see Ms. Gualdoni or Mr. Tostado in room 216/217!
