General School Info.

University of Missouri at Kansas City will be in the counseling office today at 11 am.  Please request a pass from the counseling office.

Attention Sophomores! The Class of 2028 will have its next meeting after school on Thursday in room 217. We will be discussing IMPORTANT things... like next year's PROM theme! Make sure to come and join us! If you cannot attend, please email Mr. Tostado or Ms. Gualdoni, or see us in room 216/217.

Attention Class of 2027 - Are you interested in being a Kahok Krazy your senior year? If so, stop by the main office to pick up an application! All applications are due back to the main office by March 31st. 

Good Morning Kahoks, Listen Up! 

Did you know there is a criminal justice event this Friday? Please have your teacher bring your class down to visit. Get ready to closely examine state, federal, and local criminal justice agencies. There’s going to be CSI equipment, K-9 demonstrations, giveaways, and so much more. You do not want to miss this. So make sure to come down to the Auxiliary Gym this Friday, March 20th.   

Mr Gordon's 3rd hour leadership class is hosting a Gen Z Trivia Night for their grand gesture project. Students, staff, clubs, and anyone outside of the school are welcome to attend. Teams can have up to 8 people per table, and the cost is $10 per person. If you are interested, sign-up papers can be found outside of Room 218. The deadline to turn those and your money in will be April 7th. We hope to see you there!

Good morning CHS Future Health Professionals Club members!  Good luck to all of you heading to Springfield for the state conference this week!  Ms. Perry and Mrs. Wegener can't wait to see your achievements!  We are very proud of you all, go Kahoks!  

Athletics

The Kahok Dance Team will be hosting their first tryout workshop this Thursday, March 19th, in the Aux Gym from 5-6:30. The workshop is to help you prepare for tryouts in April. Please pick up a tryout packet in the office, or stop by room 308 to get a packet from Mrs. Corvallis. Hope to see you all there!

Clubs

You don't want to miss the Multicultural March Madness 3 V 3 Charity Basketball Tournament tonight, at 6:00 pm in the auxiliary gym.  The cost is $5.00.  

Spring is in the Air (and so is our next meeting!)  The days are getting longer, and our to-do list is growing! Whether you're a seasoned earth-warrior or just want to help the planet, come hang out with The Environmental Club. This Thursday, March 19th after school in Mrs. Wright’s Room (127). We’re diving into new spring activities and organizing our upcoming clean-ups and collections. Bring a friend and see you there!

The Baking club will have a meeting this Friday from after school until 4:30 in room 147. Please make sure you have chosen which group you want to be in on the google classroom by the end of the school day on Thursday.  

You want to hang out and have a good time with friends? Come join Hispanic Heritage Club at Kahok Stadium on March 31st at 6pm for the inaugural 3v3 soccer tournament. You can make a team with as little as 3 players or just come with some friends to watch and cheer on your favorite team. The girl player is now optional. Hope to see you there!
