General School Info.

Today is the day for the CRIMINAL JUSTICE EVENT!!!! Have your teacher bring your class down to visit. Get ready to closely examine state, federal, and local criminal justice agencies. There’s going to be CSI equipment, K-9 demonstrations, giveaways, and so much more. You do not want to miss this. So make sure to come down to the Auxiliary Gym today!

University of Illinois At Springfield will be in the counseling office today at 12 pm.  Please request a pass from the counseling office.

Mr. Gordon’s 3rd hour leadership class is hosting a Gen Z Trivia Night for their Grand Gesture Project on April 18th! Teams can have up to 8 people per table, and the cost is $10 per person.  If you’re interested, sign-up papers can be found outside of room 218. The deadline to turn the form and money in is April 7th. 

Good morning, CHS! Remember: Just think before you bin it, there could be some use in it! We’re leveling up our recycling game today. Before you toss that bottle, make sure it’s empty and dry. One half-full soda can can ruin a whole bin of paper! Let’s keep it clean, keep it green, and show some justice for trash that wants to give back. Recycle right!

Clubs

The Baking Club meeting is after school today until 4:30 in room 147!  

Salvete omnes (sal-way-tay om-nays)! The Latin Club's next meeting is after school Monday (March 20) in Room 225.  We will be competing in groups to see who can replicate an ancient Roman hairstyle the closest!  Wigs, brushes, etc. will be provided, and as always, all are welcome!

Lunch

• Chicken nuggets, fish sticks, fries, and corn

• Turkey & cheese sub, crispy chicken wrap, chef salad, and assorted yogurt parfait

• Fish sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich, fries, and meatlover’s pizza
