It’s CHECK DAY! Check out your attendance. You can see Ms. Kim in the attendance office if you have any concerns.
Next week during lunch, The Drama Club will be selling tickets to their musical Between The Lines for $5.
Please note that there will be no tutoring today due to Spring Break.
Attention Juniors, today is the last day to apply to be a Kahok Krazy for next school year. Applications can be picked up in the main office and are due to Ms.Verning by the end of school today. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. O'Neill.
Hey Kahoks! Our Spring Attendance Challenge is underway today through Friday April 24th. Every 1st hour class can earn points based on attendance percentage each day—the higher your attendance, the more points you earn, Don’t forget— the next 2 Mondays, April 13th and April 20th are double points days, so those days really matter! At the end of the challenge, the class with the most points will win donuts for the class on April 29th. Show up, stay consistent, and let’s see which class takes the win!
Hey CHS, don't forget today at 5pm is the 3v3 soccer tournament at Kahok Stadium. Come cheer on your favorite players!
Athletics
The Kahok Dance Team will be hosting its 2nd workshop day on Tuesday, April 7th, from 5-6:30 in the main gym. This is the last workshop before tryouts on April 14-16.
The boys and girls track teams competed in the 3rd Annual Kahok Krazy Relays at Kahoks Stadium. This event has boys and girls team-up in relay events. The Kahoks finished in second place. The Kahoks won the shot put relay, team members were Shane Box, Jayden Haire, Avery Baugher, Skylar Thomeczek. Their distance was 50.91 meters, breaking the meet record! The Kahoks won the discus relay, team members were Shane Box, Greg Ballinger, Avery Baugher, Zykia McMorris. Their distance was 147.24 breaking the meet record! The Kahoks won the Girls Swedish relay, which is a relay consisting of 100m,200m,300m,400m. Team members were Patience Everage, Dariana Morris, Toby Hawkes, and Kwanza Henderson. They broke the meet record in a time of 2:18.47.
Clubs
Attention Kahoks! Do you have a "bag of bags" sitting under your kitchen sink? Bring them in! The Environmental Club is competing against all Madison County schools to see who can recycle the most plastic bags. There is a donation bin across the hall from the lost and found shelf.
