General School Info.

The library is open today!  Schedule a Smartpass for the study hall if you'd like to come visit. 

We are currently in the middle of our Spring Attendance Challenge, and as of yesterday, our top 5 first hour classes are all within 2 points of each other! Ms. Schweppe's 1st hour is sitting in the #1 spot with 24 points, Ms. Geisen's 1st hour is close behind with 23 points, and Ms. Wright's, Ms Yvonne Smith's, and Mr. Grodon's 1st hours all are keeping it a close race with 22 points! And just a reminder that Monday will be another double points day!. Keep showing up and earn your class donuts on April 29th. 

After months and months of training, the Kahoks on the Go team ran either a 10k (6.2 miles) or a half marathon (13.1 miles) at the Greater St. Louis Marathon on Saturday, April 11th. 10k runners were Rylee McGauley, Adilyn Click, Carolina Garcia, Lizbeth Carrera, and Jose Ramirez. Half marathon runners were Esme Malo, Houston Gurley, Zach Etcheson, Roger Castro, Eden Banuelos-Alvarado, Michael Ripley, Joseph Ripley, Theo Bovee, Mr. Post, Mrs. Furlow, and Mr. Gottschalk.


Attention Juniors! Are you a leader who wants to make a difference? The Board of Education is now accepting applications for the 2026-27 Student School Board Member. One junior will be selected to serve on the board during their senior year.  Applications were emailed out.  You can also find the applications in the counseling office.  Applications are due to Ms. Olsen in the Counseling Office by Tuesday, April 28th. Stop by or email kolsen@cusd.kahoks.org for more info!

Clubs

Attention all HOSA future health professionals club members. Our second to last meeting of the school year will be Monday, April 20th, immediately after school in room #219.  We will also be taking our club picture!  The meeting will last until 3:30p.m. and include prep work for the upcoming Wellness Fair.  Please remember election forms and membership dues for those running for an office are to be turned in at this meeting. Please contact Ms. Perry or Mrs. Wegener if you have any questions.   

Lunch

  • Pulled bbq pork or pulled chicken sandwich, Carolina slaw, potato wedges, baked beans

  • Ham & cheese sub, chicken Caesar wrap, garden fiesta salad, and yogurt parfait

  • Fish sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich, fries, meatlovers pizza, and garden salad

  • Beef filling, fajita chicken strips, refried beans, nacho & cheese sauce, and Mexican rice & beans
