Congratulations to Seniors Jayden Haire, Laila Jaoko, Carter Williams, and Junior, Jasmin Serrano for representing our school at the second round of the competition on Tuesday, April 14, in Springfield at the historic Marine Bank.

Competing against nine powerhouse schools [(Adlai E. Stevenson High School, IL Math & Science Academy, Moline High School, Monticello, Naperville Central, Neuqua Valley, University H.S. IL State Lab School, West Chicago, and William Fremd High) from across Illinois, they showed off serious financial knowledge, confidence, and collaboration. In just 75 minutes, they tackled a challenging personal finance case study, built a full presentation, and delivered it to a panel of judges with professionalism and poise.

They may not have taken home the trophy, but they absolutely showcased the best of CHS and who we are—hard‑working, sharp, and ready for anything. Their performance reflects the strength and pride of our Business Department’s Personal Finance program.
