CHS senior Griffin Crask-Weeks completed his term as the 2025-26 student school board member at this week's board of education meeting.  

Throughout school year, Griffin attended regular monthly BOE meetings and provided a student voice on the board.  He also completed a year-long project which studied student participation and interest in extracurricular activities.  

Crask-Weeks surveyed Dorris Intermediate School, Collinsville Middle School and Collinsville High School students to collect their opinions and suggestions.  He shared his findings at the April board meeting.  His research will provide valuable insight to the board, administration and school leaders.  

Next year, Griffin will attend the University of Missouri to study engineering.  

The BOE selects a high school senior each year to provide student input.  Candidates apply at the end of their junior year.
