Hello Class of 2027! Just a reminder that Senior Sunrise will be held this Friday at 6am on the Football Field.
Please bring your blankets and arrive starting at 6am on the football field to watch the Sunrise together as a class and to take a photo for the yearbook. Once the sun rises, make your way to the Aux Gym for some music and breakfast foods! Key Club should have all the food and beverages set up by 6:35am. No RSVP necessary! Just join your classmates for a fun Friday morning before school starts!
Class of 2029- your homecoming t-shirts are ready to be purchased! Please check the 2029 Google classroom and get your order in by Monday!
Seniors, If you want to be part of planning events for your senior year, come to the Executive Board meeting in room 154 on Monday after school. New members welcome!!!
Clubs
Mr. Homecoming is right around the corner! Any male students wanting to represent a club at the 2026 Mr. Homecoming should talk to their club sponsor and fill out the form. Forms are due no later than Sept 11. Please turn in your forms to Mr. Gordon in room 218 or give them to your club sponsor.
Do you want to make new friends and promote inclusivity? Come to Best Buddies from 3- 4 p.m. today in room 139. People with and without disabilities will be getting together, getting to know each other, and having some snacks
BONJOUR! The French Club will have its first meeting today in room 227 right after school. We will talk about upcoming activities and discuss Homecoming. All are welcome! The meeting will last until 3:30.
Want opportunities to explore science, technology and engineering outside the classroom? Enjoy competing in STEM related events? Want to boost your college resume and meet others who also want to explore science outside of the classroom? Well, the STEM Club is the place for you. Today in room 134 there will be a STEM Club mixer to get to know about us. Refreshments will be served. Hope to see you there.
The Baking Club will have a short informational meeting this Friday after school in room 147. This is for both new and returning members. If you cannot attend but still want to join the club, please see Mr. Oliver in room 307.
The Book Club will have a short informational meeting in the library after school Monday until 3:15. If you like reading books, you should join us. If you are interested but can’t make the meeting, reach out to Mr. Neuber in room 301 or Mrs. Schmidt in the Library for more info.
Love popsicles? Want a new plant? Join the Environmental & Gardening Club kickoff today right after school in Mrs. Wright's room, 127. Bring an empty plastic water bottle to turn into your own take home planter! We'll supply popsicles and seeds and you can see what we’re all about. New and returning members—come hang out!
The Childhood Cancer Awareness Club will have its first meeting right after school today in the cafeteria. Anyone interested in joining please come see what it is all about. We will also talk about the Golden Football Game.

Do you love public speaking and/or performing? Then the speech and acting team is just for you. There will be an informational meeting in the theatre after school on Monday, August 31. The meeting will only last about 20 minutes or so.
Attention all Kahoks interested in the health care field! CHS HOSA Future Health Professionals club is meeting again this coming Monday, August 31st immediately after school in room 219 until 3:30pm. Anyone interested in health sciences is welcome to attend. Please contact Ms. Perry or Mrs. Wegener if you have any questions.
