General School Info.

Attention Kahok fans: don’t forget to sign up for the student fan bus to Mt. Vernon for Saturday’s football game. See Mr. O’Neill in 211a to sign up. 


If you would like to invite a guest to the Homecoming dance that does not attend CHS, the forms are ready to be picked up outside of the main office. The completed forms are due back by 3pm on Friday, September 18th. 


Attention Juniors! The Class of 2028 Executive Board will have its first meeting of the year after school today in room 217. We will discuss our Uptown Scoops fundraiser and Homecoming week, among other important things! If you have any questions or cannot attend, please email Ms. Gualdoni and Mr. Tostado or come see us in room 216/217! 


Athletics

Attention Bowlers!  There will be a meeting for anyone interested in trying out for the boys and girls bowling teams today in room 125 after school. The meeting will last about 20 minutes and we will go over important dates. Bowling is a winter sport and you can be in band and other activities and still bowl. If you are in a fall sport or can't make the meeting, please stop by room 125 to see Coach Hay sometime Thursday or Friday to pick up the information.   


CHS Cheer will be holding tryouts on today and September 10th from 3:30-5:30pm at Renfro Elementary Gym. Tryout packets can be found in Coach Audrain’s room 124. 


Attention anybody who is interested in wrestling. Open gyms will start immediately after school on Tuesday, September 8th. 

Clubs

KAHOKstrong meeting UPDATE! The student meeting is no longer going to be today, it has been rescheduled for next week onTuesday. Please plan on meeting after school next week Tuesday in room 203. If you are not able to attend please email Mrs. Geisen or Mr. Post. 


The first meeting of the German Club will be today after school in room 229. You do not need to be in German to attend. 


Come hang out for some tunes and fun. Looking forward to seeing everyone at SCAT Club this Friday after school from 3 to 4pm in room 211A.  Treats will be provided."doo be doo ba doo.


Hey, BSU! We are having our first Black Student Union meeting on Tuesday, September 8th, in room 211b to discuss this year's plans for uniting our community and welcoming new members. We will have snacks and drinks available, so be sure to bring your friends along. We can't wait to see you there! 

   Lunch

  • Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and brown gravy, a roll, and carrots

  • Turkey & cheese sub, crispy chicken wrap, chicken Caesar salad, and assorted fruit and yogurt parfait

  • Bacon cheeseburger, Ninja burger, fries, and Hawaiian pizza

  • Beef filling, fajita chicken strips, refried beans, nacho & cheese sauce, and Mexican rice & beans
