General School Info.

It’s CHECK DAY! Check out your attendance on Skyward. You only have 5 days to correct any issues, so see Ms. Kim in the attendance office if you have any questions. 


Jostens will be here today, during lunch hours to talk to seniors about ordering caps and gowns. After checking in with your study hall teacher, just head over to the auditorium. Again, this is for seniors only.


JostensPix will be here tomorrow in the Library to take pictures. This is for students that haven’t had a professional picture taken this year or would just like a retake AND for all staff. Ms. Westphal would love all staff to have their picture taken for the yearbook! 


Are you frustrated using a personal/free Canva account for school projects???? You can get an educational Canva account for free. Just stop by the library or email Mrs. Schmidt to set up your account. 

Athletics

This week, Collinsville High School is teaming up with Alton High School, our opponent on the football field, to Tackle Hunger with Channel 5!  There will be blue collection bins at the entrances of CHS for students and staff to drop off canned goods and other non-perishable food items. Let’s fill those bins and show the Metro East just how great the Kahoks are! Let’s Tackle Hunger together!

Clubs

Environmental/ Gardening Club AKA the Green Team is meeting today after school in Mrs. Wright's room (127) to talk Homecoming tailgate and Parade plans! See you there!


First Priority Club will have our weekly meeting tomorrow morning Wednesday, September 16th at 7:10AM in room 209! First Priority is for students who already know or want to know more about Jesus. We will have donuts! Email Mrs. Schneider or Mr. Gottschalk if you have any questions. 


There will be a KAHOKSTRONG meeting Thursday after school in room 203. Please make plans to attend. We will be discussing the upcoming pink out events along with other events in the near future. If you are unable to attend, please email Mr. Post or Ms. Geisen.

  • Texas beef chili, loaded tater tots, dinner roll, and green beans

  • American sub, chicken Caesar wrap, garden salad, and strawberry parfait

  • Hot dog, fries, and buffalo chicken pizza

  • Beef filling, fajita chicken strips, refried beans, nacho & cheese sauce, and Mexican rice & beans
