General School Info.

JostensPix is here today in the Library until 2:30 to take pictures. This is for students that haven’t had a professional picture taken this year or would just like a retake AND for all staff. Ms. Westphal would love all staff to have their picture taken for the yearbook! 


Attention sophomores, juniors and seniors: If you ordered a 2026 yearbook, please stop by the library to pick up your copy during your lunch or study hour today. 


Attention, college-bound Seniors.  If you are struggling with writing your college entrance essays, or maybe don't even know where to begin, come to Room 301 after school on Thursday for help, and we can get you on the right track. 


Homecoming guest forms will not be accepted after 3pm this Friday, September 18th!

Athletics

This week, Collinsville High School is teaming up with Alton High School, our opponent on the football field, to Tackle Hunger with Channel 5!  There will be blue collection bins at the entrances of CHS for students and staff to drop off canned goods and other non-perishable food items. Let’s fill those bins and show the Metro East just how great the Kahoks are! Let’s Tackle Hunger together!

Clubs

There will be a KAHOKSTRONG meeting Thursday after school in room 203. Please make plans to attend. We will be discussing the upcoming pink out events along with other events in the near future. If you are unable to attend, please email Mr. Post or Ms. Geisen. 


Hey, hey, hey, Spanish Club! Our next meeting is tomorrow, Thursday, September 17th at 3:00 in Room 223.  We will be finalizing our plans for Homecoming Week!  Hope to see you there! 

   Lunch

  • Golden dragon orange chicken stir fry, rice, roasted broccoli, and roasted carrots

  • Italian deli sub, Buffalo chicken wrap, crispy chicken salad, and peach yogurt parfait

  • Buffalo chicken popper sub, chicken bacon ranch popper sub, fries, and chicken bacon ranch pizza

  • Beef filling, fajita chicken strips, refried beans, nacho & cheese sauce, and Mexican rice & beans
