General School Info.

Attention, college-bound Seniors.  If you are struggling with writing your college entrance essays, or maybe don't even know where to begin, come to Room 301 after school today for help, and we can get you on the right track. 


Homecoming guest forms will not be accepted after 3pm this Friday, September 18th!


The Sock it to Cancer money has all been counted and the Winning class is Mrs. Biondi!  Her class raised 112.42.  Congratulations and thank you to all the teachers that help CCA raise money for St. Jude. We appreciate you! 


Attention All Kahoks: Next week starts Homecoming Week 2026 and the Kahok Candyland Experience!

  • Monday is "Rol'o ver Monday".  Come dressed in your favorite PJs and accessories!  

  • Tuesday is Skittles Day, also known as Class Color Day, and Class Clash is immediately after school in the commons area.

  • Wednesday is Lifesavers Day, so come dressed as your favorite Super Hero with Mr. Homecoming taking place at 7pm in the auditorium. The entry cost is $5 per person.

  • Also Chick Fil A will be sold at lunch on Monday and Wednesday and Pizza Hut Pizzas on Tuesday and Thursday.

So get ready for some fun next week as we head into Homecoming 2026! 

Athletics

This week, Collinsville High School is teaming up with Alton High School, our opponent on the football field, to Tackle Hunger with Channel 5!  There are blue collection bins at the entrances of CHS where students and staff can donate canned goods and other non-perishable food items.

  • For the next two days, we will also have a blue collection bin located by the flagpole during the school day for anyone who does not work at CHS who would like to stop by and make a donation.

  • Let’s come together, Tackle Hunger, and show the Metro East what the Kahoks are all about!

Also, please be aware that Boys Basketball Open Gym is cancelled for today.

Clubs

There will be a KAHOKSTRONG meeting today after school in room 203. Please make plans to attend. We will be discussing the upcoming pink out events along with other events in the near future. If you are unable to attend, please email Mr. Post or Ms. Geisen. 


Hey, hey, hey, Spanish Club! Our next meeting is today at 3:00 in Room 223.  We will be finalizing our plans for Homecoming Week!  Hope to see you there! 


Good morning CHS HOSA Future Health Professionals! Our next club meeting will be Monday, September 21st immediately after school in room #219. The meeting should last until 3:30pm.  We will be working on our homecoming parade posters and prepping for the homecoming tailgate.  Please contact Ms. Perry or Mrs. Wegener if you have any questions. 

   Lunch

  • Pork or fajita chicken tacos, roasted corn, and refried beans

  • Turkey & cheese sub, crispy chicken wrap, chicken Caesar salad, and strawberry yogurt parfait

  • Bacon cheeseburger, fries, and Hawaiian pizza

  • Beef filling, fajita chicken strips, refried beans, nacho & cheese sauce, and Mexican rice & beans
