General School Info.

Kahok Candyland has arrived! Welcome to Homecoming Week 2026!


Today is Rolover Day! Glad to see so many of you dressed up in your PJs! Remember, all week there will be small Candyland game pieces hidden inside CHS.  If you find one, bring it to Mr. Gordon in room 218 or find him in the cafeteria foyer during lunch and get a candy surprise! Remember one per student daily and sorry faculty, you can't participate in this one.


Tomorrow is Skittles Day so dress in your class color - Green/Freshmen, Red/Sophomores, Blue/Juniors, Purple/Seniors and Faculty/Black. Also, Class Clash will be hosted by Mrs. Perry and Ms. Geppert at 3pm on the Commons immediately after school.  Come out and have some fun and see what class can beat the Faculty!


Wednesday is Lifesavers Day so come dressed as your favorite SuperHero. And remember, Mr. Homecoming will be at 7pm in the auditorium. Cost is $5 per person.  


The dance is Saturday from 7pm to 10pm.  Dress appropriately. You are to look nice so no t shirts, ripped clothing, flip flops, or crocs.  Will will also need your student ID, $10 and Seniors, your ACT Card if you qualify for free entry.  Enter through the Auditorium Doors.  See you there!  


Washington University at St. Louis will be in the counseling office today at 1:30pm. Please request a pass from the counseling office. 


SEE YOU AT THE POLE is this Wednesday morning at 7:10AM in front of the school around the flagpole. ANYONE is welcome to join us as we sing and pray for our school while having some donuts for breakfast. See Mrs. Schneider or Mr. Gottschalk if you have any questions. 

Clubs

Good morning CHS HOSA Future Health Professionals! Our next club meeting will be today immediately after school in room #219. The meeting should last until 3:30pm.  We will be working on our homecoming parade posters and prepping for the homecoming tailgate.  Please contact Ms. Perry or Mrs. Wegener if you have any questions. 

   Lunch

  • Breaded or glazed drumstick w/roll, mashed potatoes and chicken gravy, Carolina slaw, green beans

  • Ham & cheese sub, crispy chicken wrap, chicken Caesar salad, and strawberry yogurt parfait

  • Fish sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich, fries, and meatlovers pizza

  • Beef filling, fajita chicken strips, refried beans, nacho & cheese sauce, and Mexican rice & beans
