General School Info.

IT’S CHECK DAY! Check out your attendance and make sure everything looks right. If you have any concerns, stop by and chat with Ms. Kim in the attendance office. You only have 5 days to correct any issues. 

Homecoming Week 2026 continues today!

It's Skittles Day and Class Class will take place immediately after school in the Commons area outside the cafeteria.  

At lunch today there will be Pizza Hut Pizza for sale in the foyer. 

Remember, all week there will be small Candyland game pieces hidden inside CHS. If you find one, bring it to Mr. Gordon in room 218 or find him in the cafeteria foyer during lunch and get a candy surprise!  Remember one per student daily and sorry faculty, you can't participate in this one.

Tomorrow is Lifesavers Day so come dressed as your favorite superhero.  And remember, Mr. Homecoming will be at 7pm in the auditorium.  Cost is $5 per person. 

Thursday is Twix and Twizzlers Day so come dressed as twins, triplets and more!  

The dance is Saturday from 7pm to 10pm. Dress appropriately. You are to look nice so no t shirts, ripped clothing, flip flops, or crocs. You will also need your student ID, $10 and Seniors, your ACT Card if you qualify for free entry.  Enter through the Auditorium Doors.  See you there!  

SEE YOU AT THE POLE is tomorrow at 7:10AM in front of the school around the flagpole. ANYONE is welcome to join us as we sing and pray for our school while having some donuts for breakfast. See Mrs. Schneider or Mr. Gottschalk if you have any questions. 

Clubs

Congratulations to the Math Team who competed in their first competition of the season yesterday. Holden Reder placed 6th and Lillian Gottschalk placed 3rd for Freshmen. Violet Clayton placed 6th, Olive Latch placed 4th, and Esme Malo placed 1st for Sophomores. Chase Snow placed 6th, Lydia Taylor placed 4th, and Tristan Mills placed 1st for Juniors. Sean Garcia placed 8th, Sullivan Frye placed 6th, and Simon Frye placed 3rd for Seniors. A team consisting of Sullivan Frye, Lydia Taylor, Violet Clayton, and Holden Reder placed 1st. Great job to everyone who participated!
