Homecoming Week 2026 continues today!

It's Lifesaver Day!   

Class clash results are in….unofficially the numbers show juniors coming in first, with faculty trailing behind them doubling their score, followed closely by seniors, sophomores, then freshmen. However since it’s the 2026-27 school year....the seniors win!!!!

Thanks to everyone for coming out to participate!! Fun was had by all, but we want to send an honorable mention to the juniors who scored above due to their sportsmanship & the only team who didn’t cheat in any of the events.

At lunch today there will be Chick Fil A for sale in the foyer. 

Remember, all week there will be small Candyland game pieces hidden inside CHS.  If you find one, bring it to Mr. Gordon in room 218 or find him in the cafeteria foyer during lunch and get a candy surprise!  Remember one per student daily and sorry faculty, you can't participate in this one.

Tomorrow is Twix/Twizzlers Day so come dressed as twins, triplets or more.  And remember, Mr. Homecoming will be at 7pm in the auditorium tonight.  Cost is $5 per person

Friday is Good and Plenty Day so come dressed in your best purple and white!  

TAILGATE Party will be from 6pm to 7pm in the AVC parking lot. 

THE DANCE is Saturday from 7pm to 10pm.  Dress appropriately. You are to look nice so no t shirts, ripped clothing, flip flops, or crocs.  We will also need your student ID, $10 and Seniors, your ACT Card if you qualify for free entry.  Enter through the Auditorium Doors.  See you there!  

Principia College Washington University at St. Louis will be in the counseling office today at 10 am.  Please request a pass from the counseling office. 

   Lunch

• Shepard’s pie, mashed potatoes & brown gravy, roll, and seasoned carrots

• Italian deli sub, Buffalo chicken wrap, crispy chicken salad, and yogurt parfait

• Buffalo chicken popper sub, chicken bacon ranch popper sub, fries,  and chicken bacon and ranch pizza

• Beef filling, fajita chicken strips, refried beans, nacho & cheese sauce, and Mexican rice & beans
