General School Info.

Homecoming Week 2026 is almost over! 


It's Good and Plenty Day so I hope you are all dressed up in your purple and white best!  


The pep assembly will start around 2:20pm. Please wait to be dismissed by my announcement later today. To make room for the assembly, we will be following the Wednesday schedule.  


The Tailgate Party will begin at 6pm and conclude at 7pm in the old AVC Parking lot and the football game will start at 7pm.


The dance is Saturday from 7pm to 10pm.  Dress appropriately. You are to look nice so no t shirts, ripped clothing, flip flops, or crocs.  Will will also need your student ID, $10 and Seniors, your ACT Card if you qualify for free entry.  Enter through the Auditorium Doors.  See you there!  


Good morning Kahoks! You scream, I scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM!  Today, the CHS HOSA Future Health Professionals Club will be selling Bobby's Ice Cream in the booth outside the cafeteria for only $5 (cash only)!   Get ready for this once in a lifetime (school year) to get your Bobby's at school! 

 Clubs

Do you have an interest in becoming a business professional, leader, CEO or entrepreneur or just interested in the business world in any aspect? The Kahok Business Professionals (FBLA) will have their first meeting on Tuesday, September 29 after school in Room 321. All are welcome. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Moore in 323 or Mr. Sertich in 321. 


The next student council meeting will be on Tuesday, immediately after school in the Auditorium.  All members should make plans to attend. 


Do you like to debate big issues, or think you could solve some of the world’s problems? Then Model UN might be for you! No experience needed! You don't have to be an expert on politics or international affairs — you just need to be willing to participate and have some fun. Come check out Model UN and see what it's all about on Monday, September 28th after school in Mrs. Johnson's room (Room #220)

  • Ham & cheese sub, chicken Caesar warp, garden fiesta salad, and yogurt parfait

  • Fish sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich, fries, meatlovers pizza, and garden salad

  • Beef filling, fajita chicken strips, refried beans, nacho & cheese sauce, and Mexican rice & beans
