General School Info.

Attention Kahoks!  Mark your calendars, our first monthly incentive:  Kahok Rock Block & CATSUP.  It is right around the corner! On November 6th, we’ll follow an assembly schedule and wrap up the school day with a special activity hour that you get to choose.  Here is how you qualify:  For the month of October keep your tardies to 5 or fewer for the month.Stay out of ISS, OSS, and STOP.  


Juniors and Seniors - Jostens will be here tomorrow, outside of the cafeteria, during lunch hours to take orders and answer questions.

Athletics

At this weekend's track meet, the girls team had three top 10 medalists. They were: Esme Malo in 10th, Audrey Payne in 5th, and Ryelan Judiscak in 3rd. The boys team had three top 15 medalists. They were: Anton Beljanski in 14th, Daniel Gutierrez in 2nd, and Chase Cummins in 1st overall! The boys finished 2nd as a team. Great job team!


 Clubs

Do you have an interest in becoming a business professional, leader, CEO or entrepreneur or just interested in the business world in any aspect? The Kahok Business Professionals (FBLA) will have their first meeting tomorrow after school in Room 321. All are welcome. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Moore in 323 or Mr. Sertich in 321. 


The next student council meeting will be on Tuesday, immediately after school in the Auditorium.  All members should make plans to attend. 

Do you like to debate big issues, or think you could solve some of the world’s problems? Then Model UN might be for you! No experience needed! You don't have to be an expert on politics or international affairs — you just need to be willing to participate and have some fun. Come check out Model UN and see what it's all about TODAY after school in Mrs. Johnson's room (Room #220) 

The Book Club will be meeting today after school in the library until 3:30. We hope to see you there!


First Priority Club will have our weekly meeting Wednesday morning, September 30th at 7:10AM in room 209! First Priority is for students who already know or want to know more about Jesus. We will have donuts! Email Mrs. Schneider or Mr. Gottschalk if you have any questions. 


FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) will have a meeting this Wednesday night, September 30th from 6:30-8:00pm in the AUX gym. Food will be provided. You do not have to be an athlete to attend. We will play games, eat food and have a short discussion. See Mrs. Schneider in room 209 if you have any questions. 

Lunch

  • Glazed or breaded chicken drumstick with a dinner roll, mashed potatoes, and chicken gravy

  • Turkey & cheese sub, crispy chicken wrap, Chef salad, and assorted yogurt parfait

  • Parmesan chicken sandwich, chicken cordon bleu burger, fries, and bbq pizza

  • Beef filling, fajita chicken strips, refried beans, nacho & cheese sauce, and Mexican rice & beans
