General School Info.

Welcome to Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week! Tomorrow is Tejano Tuesday. Wear cowboy or western attire.


The September Student of the month was Celina Oseguera and our September Seniors of the month were Simon Frye and Ella Boudreau. Congratulations to all of you!


The Senior Field Trip is scheduled for November 23rd at Amp Up Action Park! Get your packet to attend in front of the main or vocational office. Your cost will be $20 and everyone planning to attend needs to complete the waiver through the QR code on the flyer. Completed permission slips and money will be turned in during lunches in the cafeteria on October 14-19. See Ms. Geppert or Ms. Perry for any questions.

Athletics

The Kahok Trap team had participants in the Kellerman Memorial Shoot this weekend. Congratulations to Jack Thomas for winning Handicap and taking home a new belt buckle! Logan Wright, Austin Sykes and Kyler Bickel shot 25-straight. Way to Go Team!!!! 

 Clubs

Good morning CHS HOSA Future Health Professionals!  Our next meeting for all paid members is today immediately after school in room #219.  The meeting should last until 3:30pm. We will be discussing upcoming volunteer and field trip opportunities along with HOSA competitive events.  Please contact Ms. Perry or Mrs. Wegener if you have any questions.  


FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) will have a meeting tonight, Monday, October 5th from 6:30-8:00pm in the AUX gym. Food will be provided. You do not have to be an athlete to attend. We will play games, eat food and have a short Bible discussion. See Mrs. Schneider in room 209 if you have any questions. 


CHS Model UN is getting ready for our Fall Conference at McKendree University, and we still have room for a few more delegates! Interested? Come to our meeting tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct. 6th) after school in Mrs. Johnson's room (220) to learn more — no experience needed! Can't make it but still interested? Email Mrs. Johnson for more information!
