It’s CHECK DAY! This is your reminder that you only have 5 days to correct any attendance errors. See Ms. Kim in the attendance office if you have any questions or concerns about your attendance. 

As we continue Hispanic Heritage Spirit week, tomorrow is Wear it Wednesday! Wear a soccer or baseball jersey. 

The October Student of the month is Logan Booker and the October Senior of the month is Daniel Gutierrez-Trejo. Congratulations to you both!

 Clubs

CHS Model UN is getting ready for our Fall Conference at McKendree University, and we still have room for a few more delegates! Interested? Come to our meeting today after school in Mrs. Johnson's room (220) to learn more — no experience needed! Can't make it but still interested? Email Mrs. Johnson for more information!

The Math Team competed in their second competition of the season yesterday. Holden Reder placed 4th for Freshmen. Violet Clayton placed 5th, Olive Latch placed 2nd, and Esme Malo placed 1st for Sophomores. Chase Snow placed 6th, Tristan Mills placed 4th, and Lydia Taylor placed 2nd for Juniors. Sullivan Frye placed 7th and Simon Frye placed 2nd for Seniors. 

A team consisting of Sullivan Frye, Lydia Taylor, Violet Clayton, and Holden Reder placed 2nd. Great job to everyone who participated!

First Priority Club will have our weekly meeting Wednesday morning, October 7th at 7:10AM in room 209! First Priority is for students who already know or want to know more about Jesus. We will have donuts! Email Mrs. Schneider or Mr. Gottschalk if you have any questions. 

Chess Club starts this Thursday at 3:00 PM in Room 206. All are welcome…both newbies and experienced players!
