General School Info.

Jostens will be in the Library this Thursday, September 12th for any student retakes and staff pictures.  

Students, if you never had your picture taken by Jostens or you need a retake, please request a pass to the library sometime that day. 


We will have a Lockdown and then Fire Drill at 1pm on Thursday.  Please plan to have your picture taken before or after those drills.


Attention Freshmen! Your class sponsors have a VERY important message for you! Our FIRST meeting for the Class of 2028 will take place after school on Thursday, September 12th in room 217! We will be discussing Homecoming activities (Class Clash, Parade, Tailgate, Mr. Homecoming) and a design for our class t-shirt among other things! The more who attend, the better! If you cannot attend the meeting or have any questions, please see Ms. Gualdoni in room 216, Mr. Tostado in room 217, or send us an email!


Attention Class of 2027!

The class of 2027 Executive Board will be meeting on Thursday, September 12th, after school in Room 144 to discuss Homecoming and hold elections. Whether you're a current member or interested in joining, we welcome all Sophomores to attend and get involved! Snacks will be provided. If you have any questions,  please see:Ms. Perry in Room 154 or Ms. Geppert in Room 144. See you there!


Were you a pretty baby?  If you are a senior and want to be entered in the Annual Multicultural Club Pretty Baby Contest, please bring two copies of the same photo (two years old or younger) to Mrs. Lindauer in room 206 by September 25th.  The winner will be announced at the Homecoming Assembly.

Sports

Congratulations to our Lady Kahok Tennis players Toby Hawkes and Melissa Graica on their varsity singles victory over Civic Memorial and Laila Jaoko and Laila Hutchison on their varsity doubles win.

Also good job to Emma Wagner, Ryelan Judiscak, Kamryn Haley , Savannah Wilson, Kate Harris, and Alina Hernandez on their doubles wins for JV.

Clubs

The Scholar Bowl team is looking for people who are good at memorizing trivial facts.  We will have our first meeting of the year on Thursday, September 12th immediately after school in room 206.


Salvete omnes (sal-way-tay om-nays)!

The Latin Club's next meeting is after school Thursday in Room 225.  We'll be going outside to compete in ancient olympics.  Events will include chariot racing, gladiatorial combat, and javelin throwing.  We'll have prizes for the top 3 competitors.  As always, all are welcome!

Have you ever wanted to bring your artwork to life?  Have you ever wanted to learn how to use machines for metalworking?  You’re in luck!  Visit Mr. Kress in room 138 for Metal Arts Club every Monday from 3-5.  See Mr. Kress for more information.  The first meeting is this coming Monday!

Join the Environmental Club!  Do you want to make a difference?  Join us for our first meeting to learn, act, and create a greener world.  The first meeting is Thursday, September 12th from 3 to 3:45 in room 127.  Enjoy snacks, drinks, and giveaways!  Bring a friend and let’s make a change together.
